Heat and the City

So I think I'm starting to settle in a bit. I know my way to the places I have to go everyday..got the daily chores and routine down. So yesterday I tried out a new church in the city....and I liked it..I still have one more I'm also gonna try..but I'm excited at this new prospect. It is very small..in an old theater...there were like 30 people there.....very "biblically based"...I met some nice people...who I'm sure I will see again next week. It was SSOOOOOO HHHOOOTTTT in the city yesterday! It probably wasn't over 90 but good greif with all the concrete and buildings I was sweating up a storm...had to shower twice yesterday..which I NEVER do, haha. I had lunch at one of my favorite places.. "Good Enough To Eat"...not only is it good..but I love the atmosphere...When I got there about 15 people waited in line before me, luckily for me, NONE of them wanted to eat at the bar..and they had one seat left...lucky me! So I have never had alcohol as early as 1:00 in the afternoon before but I did yesterday...I didn't know people drank Mimosa's in the morning, or afternoon for that matter..but I felt pressured..sitting at the bar and all..haha..but it was good. Well.. I finally went out with some people my own age last night..2 nannies from town...one is from South Africa and one is from some country I don't remember.. they are really sweet. We went to Macaroni Grill ( just like old times) and then went to see.... sigh..Mama Mia... Now if you know me at all you will know that I would never see a movie like that voluntarily...but I was just excited to be out with people...they both loved the movie...It was very awkward...Pierce Brosnan singing made me very uncomfortable..I had to bust out laughing...but Im glad I went, we had a good time. Today is Monday...the start of a new week... endless possibilities before us...I hope you all have a great week...I look forward to hearing from you all...Have a great day!
